Different Approaches to Probabilities

The following spinner is spun. What is the probability that the spinner lands on yellow?

A spinner with three colours. The yellow and blue sections are equal taking up a little more than one-third of the spinner each, red takes up a quarter of the spinner.

Spinner 2

A spinner split into five sections labelled with numbers. Sections 1, 3, and 5 make up one-tenth of the spinner.  Section 2 makes up four-tenths, and Section 4 makes up three-tenths of the spinner.
